I first encountered massage and bodywork in 2003 during 3 years of vocational dance education and fell in love with it immediately. I knew back then that I wanted to study and work in the massage field one day.
Massage has been an important part of my life, helping and supporting me on every level – physically, mentally and emotionally. It has taught me a great deal both personally and professionally. Because of this, I am passionate about massage and the benefits that nurturing touch can bring to an individual. Also working in busy and stressful work environments in the past has made me realise that there is a huge need for stress and tension relief and massage could support and help so many people.
I trained at the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork and hold the Massage Training Institute (MTI) Diploma in Holistic Massage with Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology. I am a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and an Appointed Person in First Aid.
I have worked with a wide range of clients with a variety of physical, mental or emotional health issues. My experience also includes working safely with clients during pregnancy and my treatments can be adapted as a gentle and supportive therapy for elderly clients. The benefits of massage can be experienced at every age and stage of life. I highly recommend Holistic Massage and Bodywork to everyone.
I find working as a holistic massage therapist a rewarding experience. Being able to support and help my clients to relax, unwind, reconnect and feel more comfortable in their bodies and minds makes me feel that my work is important.
Outside of massage, I am a passionate sauna lover and a wild swimmer. What could be a better way to relax and enjoy life!
